Can we trust what we hear?

On this blog, I have provided a list of links to various sources of news and prospective. However, there is no doubt that the news media is monetarily motivated and therefore bias. But I think it is fortunate that there seem to be several sides of most issues that have control of various media outlets which affords us as citizens at least the chance of getting multiple prospectives. The cost, if you will, is that we have to go multiple places in order to get enough information to make a judgment on the truth of a story. Sure it’s a pain to watch three different news programs or look up two different web sources or read three different articles about the same thing but at least we have many sources to choose from rather than just one. With all this in mind, just remember to really think about what you are hearing and check things out for yourself!
